Become a partner of VIA
VIA is always looking for new partners who want to organise volunteering projects in the Netherlands and are in need of a group of volunteers. VIA can provide an international group of volunteers.
SCI is specialised in the exchange and selection of volunteers from over the whole world, who will work together in a project towards a fairer, more social and/or cleaner world. The projects last around two or three weeks. The work can be very diverse: construction, painting, work in nature, or organising activities for a certain group of people like children or refugees.
For SCI and VIA, workcamps are a way of contributing to peace and intercultural understanding. We aim to offer our volunteers an opportunity to take on societal issues while working on projects in an international group. We strongly believe that this will lead to increased mutual understanding between people of different countries and cultures. Because of that, we feel that the cultural exchange during the project is as important as the work itself. Thereby, volunteers do not only work, but they also learn about topics related to the project, are in contact with the local people and other local initiatives.
For us it is important that our project partners share these values and help us achieve our goals.
